by | Sep 7, 2020 | Fashion

Birkenstock and Valentino are back with a new addition to their wildly successful collaboration. Following up on the first runway collaboration between Maison Valentino and Birkenstock, the collection, under the Creative Direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli, launched in January 2019. The original collection featured the now-iconic Valentino VLTN logo adorning the classic Arizona sandal.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Pierpaolo Piccioli joined Valentino in 2016, bringing the storied Italian atelier into a new, modern phase. Valentino was founded in Rome in 1960 by designer Valentino Garavani. The Birkenstock 1774 collection is named for the year of the creation of the company’s unique flexible molded footbed.

Featuring an oversized Camouflage pattern, the unisex sandals are available in three contrasting patterns in military green, vibrant yellow and grey. The designers’ customary attention to detail has been given to the new collection featuring a black leather covered footbed with tonal buckles.

Following upon the success of earlier collaborations, this is the latest style from Birkenstock 1774, the historic brand’s elevated line of designer styles, as well as a line of colorful interpretations of classic styles like the Arizona and Milano.
