Former model and 1980’s style icon Inès de La Fressange brings another dose of French-girl chic to her latest collaboration with UNIQLO. The Fall/Winter 2020 Inès de La Fressange X UNIQLO collection is inspired by the French it-girls of the 1970’s, like Jane Birkin and singer-songwriter Françoise Madeleine Hardy. De La Fressange explains, “Back in the seventies, many women were determined to emancipate themselves from traditions. The collection embodies an “Annie Hall goes to Paris” vibe, with inspiration from men’s tailoring and the soft prairie florals of the day. Accents come from pussy-bow blouses and masculine hats and belts.
