[dropcaps type=’normal’ font_size=’65’ color=’#232323′ background_color=” border_color=”]G[/dropcaps] rove Collaborative is one of our favorite sources for eco-friendly cleaning products, skincare and baby products. Then they added clean beauty sister site Roven. Now they’ve taken a another major step as a company, and as an environmentally-responsible B-corporation.
Today Grove Collaborative announced that they are now plastic-neutral. In partnership with Plastic Bank, Grove Collaborative will offset each plastic container they use with a piece of plastic recovered and recycled. Since its founding in 2013, Plastic Bank has recovered and recycled over 13 million pounds of ocean-bound plastic.
For Grove Collaborative, this is an initial step in the company’s journey towards its goal of being plastic-free by 2025. Their stance is that the only sustainable course is to stop using plastic altogether. In the meantime, they have a selection of their more-sustainable products available now. We’ve spotlighted some of our favorites below.
